Fellowship

Fellowship means companionship or partnership and communion with others on the basis of something held in common (Acts 2:44).  Fellowship is designed to promote the interpersonal caring and sharing of God’s people one to another as an outgrowth of our fellowship with God (Matthew 22:37-40; Acts 2:42). Genuine fellowship does not consistently take place when believers are not growing spiritually. It is as a result of a growing relationship with Christ (the fruit of which is love, peace, joy, longsuffering, self control; Galatians 5:22-25), that relationships with other believers become meaningful.
